Note to RVR Visitors:
Here at RVR we cater to the horse camper. Our primitive camping area is located in an ancient Oak grove with running water only. Or we have primitive camping on a grass lawn available close to a shower house/restroom facility in the main compound area, a short distance from the camp sites in the oak grove. Primitive camping is $15.00 per night per camp.
If you don't camp, you may roll your bed roll out in our bunkhouse that sleeps 8 in 4 bunks. It has a full bath, full size fridge, and microwave (no range). It must be reserved in advance and the rate is $ 25.00 per bunk, per night.
You are welcome to high line, picket, and tie to your trailer or bring your own portable pens for your horses at no charge. We have available for rent 12'x12'over night pens for your horses if you do not like to tie them up for the night or have your own pen. They rent for $ 15.00 per horse per night, and are located in the compound by the bunk house. There is plenty of water available for the livestock however we do not provide any feed.
Riding here is a unique experience. Reed Valley Ranch is a 145 year old working ranch, we guide all your rides, ride at your schedule, and at your pace. We have many trails on the ranch as well as on our guide permit on the adjacent US Forest. We will ride through the cows if you are comfortable. Ranch fee is $ 25.00 per person per day, in addition to any camping, and or pens. Cow work and or sorting is an additional $ 20.00 per person per 2 hrs. If you need to take the fresh off your horse you may use our arena or round pen to do so most any time.
All guests are required to sign liability releases prior to doing any activities on the ranch. Reservations are required with a deposit of 50% of one days total booking fee, refundable with a 24 hour cancelation. We accept mastercard, visa, paypal, checks and cash. We suggest our guests contact us by phone a couple days prior to arrival to discuss any last minute items, such a weather and driving directions. No dogs are allowed!
